ASB Elections, Social, Sports Clinic, and Spirit Week!

-We are looking for an awesome group of ASB Leaders for next school year! If you are interested in running for office, please complete the following Google Form by Friday, May 15:
ASB Officers are an important part of our school. They provide positive leadership and support others. ASB Officers attend monthly meetings during school hours, come up with ideas to better our school, and approve how we spend ASB funds. We are planning to have the following positions next year:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Senators
Communicator
Cultivator

-We have a Social Friday (May 15) after school from 2:35 - 4:00. We would like students to line up by the bike rack doors if they are planning on attending. Wristbands to enter the Social will be 50 cents and tickets for games/food/drinks will be 1$ each.
-Spirit Week: “Show What You Know!” May 11-15

Top off your knowledge with your favorite hat! -
Tuesday – Character Day
Show your creativity by dressing as your favorite book, movie, or historical character. -
Wednesday – Music Day
Tune into your learning by wearing something that represents your favorite music or artist. -
Thursday – Sports Day
Show your teamwork by wearing sports gear or your favorite team colors. -
Friday – PJ Day
Rest up and get ready to do your best by wearing your comfiest pajamas!

-We are excited to announce a new after-school Sports Clinic beginning May 11th!
The Sports Clinic will run Monday through Thursday from 2:40 to 4:10 after school and will continue through June 4th. This opportunity is open to ALL HMS students.
During the clinic, students will learn how to sign up for school sports, understand eligibility requirements, and participate in rotations featuring all of the sports Highlands Middle School offers.
Whether you already play sports or are just interested in trying something new, this is a great opportunity to get involved, build skills, stay active, and meet new people.
