We will be welcoming over 750 new and returning Scotties to HMS for the 2025-2026 school year. We can't wait to see all of you! Our first day for 6th Graders is on August 27 and for all grades is August 28. Be watching for updates and information as the days get closer.

We love meeting all of our families at Open House! Please bring the whole family to HMS on Monday, August 25 between 5 PM and 6:30 PM to tour the school, ask questions, and find out what to expect at HMS this year. We will have food, fun activities, and more.

We are excited about our first ever 6th Grade Only Day! ONLY 6th graders will be attending on the first day of school - Wednesday, August 27. All other grades will start on Thursday, August 28. The 6th graders will begin the day on 8/27 by participating in a fun welcome assembly, then break up into smaller groups for tours, getting to know you activities, and more. They will eat lunch in the cafeteria and then attend each of their classes in the afternoon. The day starts and ends at the normal times -- 8 AM to 2:35 PM. Students should arrive and begin lining up at the 6th grade entrance about 7:45 AM.
