Where Everyone Belongs (WEB)
Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes sixth-graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. The counseling and administration teams work together to train mentors from the eighth grade class to be WEB leaders.
WEB leaders help guide the sixth-graders in discovering what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school. They receive support and guidance on the various challenges that middle school students can encounter. WEB also acts as an anti-bullying program for Highlands by providing the school with leaders who watch for bullying behavior, help stop it by reporting it, and create a safer school environment. We strongly believe in students helping students.
Please visit the school counselor team for more information on WEB.
